Product pages that convert
Every ad and post sends people to the product page. If it doesn't convert, the rest is wasted spend. A great page answers questions before they're asked, shows the product clearly, proves it, and removes friction.
AI can audit your page and rewrite it to a proven structure. You supply the real images, reviews, and specs, since those are what actually build trust.
Fastest path: one prompt, end to end
🤖 AI prompt — paste into ChatGPT / Claude
You are a CRO specialist for a DTC product page.
Product: [name] Price: [$] Key benefits: [list 3] Main objections buyers have: [list 2-3]
Paste my current title + description if you have it: [paste]
Do this using only real info I give (invent no specs, reviews, or claims):
1. Rewrite the product TITLE to lead with the core benefit, not just the name.
2. Write a scannable description: a benefit-led opening, then bullets (what it does, what's included, specs), then an objection-handling FAQ from the objections I listed.
3. Give an ordered on-page checklist: images, price clarity, reviews placement, trust badges, shipping/returns visibility, sticky add-to-cart on mobile.
4. Name the single biggest likely conversion killer on a page like mine.
Use [bracket] placeholders for anything real.
Output: title + description + on-page checklist + top fix.
Or do it in 5 steps
- Lead the title and top of page with the benefit, not just the product name. "Merino socks that never smell" beats "Wool Socks - Grey". The buyer decides in seconds whether this is for them.
- Show it clearly with images. Multiple angles, in-use/lifestyle shots, scale reference, and zoom. Images do more converting than copy, this is the highest-leverage element (see product-photography).
- Answer objections on the page. A short FAQ that handles sizing, materials, shipping time, and returns removes the hesitation that kills carts. Every unanswered question is a lost sale.
- Prove it with reviews and social proof near the buy button (see reviews-social-proof). New buyers trust other buyers more than your copy.
- Remove buying friction: price and shipping clear (no surprises), a prominent add-to-cart, sticky on mobile, wallets enabled. Every extra step or unknown loses a fraction of buyers.
Worked example (labeled): rewrite the title "Ceramic Mug 350ml" to "The mug that keeps coffee hot for 2 hours".
Add 5 images (angles + in-hand + size next to a hand), a 4-question FAQ (dishwasher? microwave? ships when? returns?), reviews under the price, and a sticky mobile add-to-cart. Same product, a page built to convert.
A/B test one element at a time (title, hero image, FAQ) and keep the winners.
