Experiential activations that create content and word of mouth
An activation is built to be filmed and shared, so the content and word of mouth outlive the event day. AI can brainstorm five concepts and score them on cost versus content potential; you pick the one that fits the brand and plan how you capture, prompt, and reuse the footage.
Fastest path: one prompt, end to end

You are a brand-experience designer for a DTC ecommerce brand.
Brand + product: [one line] Brand vibe: [3 adjectives] Budget ceiling: [$]
Where: [pop-up / event booth / street / in-store]
Goal: content + word of mouth (not same-day sales)
Do this and return ONE scored table of 5 activation concepts. Each concept must:
- center on ONE Instagrammable moment (the thing people will film) that visibly connects to the product,
- name the content it produces (Reels, UGC photos, a hashtag moment, creator clips),
- give the UGC prompt mechanic: the exact reason and instruction that makes a visitor post (sign copy, hashtag, tag-to-win, reward for posting),
- estimate cost as low/med/high using MY budget as the ceiling (do not invent vendor quotes; write "get a quote" for anything you can't ground).
Score each 0-5 on: content potential (volume + shareability), brand fit, cost efficiency, ease to execute.
Add a "cost per usable asset" estimate wherever you can.
Columns: Concept | Instagrammable moment | Content produced | UGC prompt mechanic | Cost | Content-potential score | Fit
Then recommend one concept and give the single deciding reason.
Do not guess or estimate any number. Every figure must come from a tool you opened or a source you can cite; give the source next to it. If you can't get a real number, leave it blank and ask me to fill it in. If you can't browse, leave that cell blank and tell me which tool to use.
Or do it in 5 steps
- Design one Instagrammable moment tied to the product. Not a booth with a logo, but the one thing people instinctively film: a striking installation, a hands-on demo, an oversized version of the product, a photogenic freebie. It has to visibly connect to what you sell, or the content is just noise that doesn't convert. Sketch the exact frame a phone camera will capture.
- Write the content-capture plan before the event. Assign one person to shoot vertical video all day, set ONE hashtag and print a sign for it, stage a photo spot with good light, and list the 8-10 shots you need (hero moment, product close-up, reactions, wide crowd). Bring the shot list on paper. The activation is only worth it if you leave with footage.
- Build the UGC prompt mechanic. Give visitors a concrete reason and a clear instruction to post: "tag us + #hashtag for 15% off," a giveaway entry for posting a Reel, or a moment novel enough that they share unprompted. Put the ask on visible signage right at the photo spot. Never assume they'll post on their own.
- Match the format to where your customers already are. Run the activation where your buyers gather (a relevant market, event, or your own store), not just where footfall is highest. Reach without fit produces content that converts no one.
- Reuse the footage everywhere for weeks. The day's real ROI is weeks of Reels, UGC for paid ads, and PDP social proof. Cut the raw video into 5-10 clips within a week while it's fresh, and hand the best assets to your paid-social team as ad creative.
Worked example (labeled): say a $2,500 activation yields 40 pieces of usable content, about $63 per asset. If buying that as paid UGC runs $150+ per video, the activation pays for itself in content alone, before any same-day sales. Count the assets, not just the till.
Score every concept on content potential + brand fit before you spend.
