Turn offline foot traffic into owned data
Every in-person visitor is a potential owned contact, or a stranger you never see again.
AI can design the whole capture funnel and write the QR incentive copy and welcome message. You connect the QR, the landing page, and the flow in your own ESP.

You are a lifecycle marketer designing an offline data-capture funnel.
Brand + product: [one line] Event: [pop-up / market / trade show / in-store]
ESP: [Klaviyo / Shopify Email / other] Incentive budget per signup: [$ or %]
Do this:
1. Design the full capture funnel, step by step: QR code on-site -> mobile landing page with an incentive -> POS email capture at checkout -> confirmation -> post-event welcome flow. Name each step, what it captures (email, SMS opt-in with compliant consent language, one qualifying field), and the drop-off risk at that step.
2. Write the landing-page copy: headline, subhead, ONE incentive offer, the QR sign copy that gets people to scan ("scan for 15% off today"), and the exact SMS consent line (must be explicit, active opt-in).
3. Write the first post-event welcome message that opens with "we met at [event]" so it doesn't feel cold, plus the 2-email post-event follow-up (reminder + expiry).
Do not guess or estimate any number. If you cite a conversion benchmark, name the source next to it; if you cannot verify one, describe it qualitatively instead of inventing a figure. If you cannot browse, say so, leave any benchmark blank, and ask me to fill it in.
Output: the step list first, then the copy blocks.
Or do it in 5 steps
- Put a QR everywhere on-site, pointing to ONE mobile landing page (table tent, signage, receipt, product tag). The landing page leads with the incentive and asks for the least possible: email, one SMS opt-in box, one qualifying field. Test it scans fast and loads in under 3 seconds on phone data.
- Write QR incentive copy that earns the scan. A bare code gets ignored. Pair it with a visible, specific offer, "scan for 15% off today" or "scan to enter the giveaway," and put the value on the sign, not buried a tap away. Make the reward obvious before they scan.
- Capture email at POS too. Not everyone scans, so at checkout let Shopify (or your POS) capture email at the payment step, and have staff ask for the SMS opt-in verbally with a tablet. Two capture points beat one.
- Use compliant consent for SMS. Explicit, active opt-in only, a box the visitor checks with intent, never pre-ticked, with the consent line visible. This keeps the list clean and keeps you out of trouble.
- Run the post-event flow that same day. Open with "great to meet you at [event]," deliver the promised incentive, then follow up with a reminder before the code expires. Warm capture goes cold within days if nothing follows.
Worked example (labeled): say at a market you scan 150 people and 90 sign up (60%) for a 15% code.
If 20 redeem at $70 AOV, that's $1,400 in first orders, plus 90 owned contacts you can email for free forever. Cost per contact = incentive cost ÷ 90; compare it to your paid-acquisition cost per lead.
Move every captured contact into a flow the same day.
